Training 01/07/10

I went into today's training session with 2 goals.

1) Make it a positive training experience in a brand new place.

2) GET ON THE DOGWALK.

If you don't already know we've trained a running dogwalk, more or less :-) I have a verbal "get-in" command for offside tunnels and have done directional training only to that extent. I trained it a la Silvia Trkman and it took me about 10 months to get where we are (Miley was 8 months when we started.)

EO 2009 Coverage

Just a quick update since I'm getting a lot of e-mails asking "where can I find the 2009 European Open Coverage?"

We're in the process of setting it up, it should be up in the next few days. I'll post to Twitter and Facebook when everything is ready, I promise :)

I just finished all of the final touches on all the graphics for Trisha Stall's 'Power Those Paws!' DVD. Loads of work but I got through it, we had less then two weeks of turnaround time to edit all of the seminar video, create custom DVD menus, video overlays, DVD cover and disc cover plus banner ads and website updates. It sure pays to keep everything in house!

Just in case you don't know... we do all of the filming, editing, designing, advertising, customer service, packing and shipping ourselves! When you're buying from us you're getting a quality home grown product! :)

European Open 2009, yea, we'll be there!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! July 25th and 26th!!!!!!

We just got word from the 2009 European Open Organizers that we're welcome to do coverage at the event! So we accepted, of course. So, for right now, sit tight, get excited and see some of the best dogs in the world compete!

Where did this week go?

We finished editing and producing Trisha Stall's 'Power Your Paws' DVD and VOD. That was a TON of work! But, the VOD is $19.99 and the DVD is $29.99 and you just can't beat that. If you're my facebook friend you got a sneak peak at the custom DVD menus and they ROCK!!!!

Miley and I started proofing this week. We added two crazy BCs running the fenceline today while we were doing our contacts. No misses, a few high hits (one of which I rewarded) but I'm really happy with her progress!!!!
